Connect the internet cable to the router. Plug it into the port marked «WAN» — it is usually highlighted in a contrasting colour for convenience.

Connect your computer or laptop to the router with a cable in the «LAN» port. You can also connect to the router over a wireless Wi-Fi connection.

In your browser's address bar on the connected device, enter the router's address — most often it is 192.168.0.1. You can check the settings address on the body of the device itself.

You will see the Tenda router settings page. Click the «Start» button.

Choose the connection type. For most subscribers it is «PPPoE» — enter the login and password for your connection. If your connection uses DHCP, choose «Dynamic IP address» (DHCP) — no login or password is required, and cloning the MAC address is not necessary.

In the settings you can change the network name and set a new, stronger password.

Once you have changed all the necessary data, click the «OK» button. The router will reboot — and you'll be able to use the internet.
